1892-1902, the pattern introduced in 1878-1879, New York, New York, including a tapering cylindrical coffeepot, h. 7-1/2", and cream jug, h. 4", a bucket-form open sugar bowl, h. 2-1/2", and circular waiter, dia. 11", decorated with repousse flowers and scrolls, the coffeepot monogrammed "SPS", 53.36 total t. oz.
The date and exuberant floral repousse decoration show the distinctive influence of Tiffany designer Charles Grosjean (1841-1888), creator of the famous "Chrysanthemum" and "Wave Edge" flatware patterns.
